The Winter Classic has become the biggest event on the NHL schedule every season, with this year's game in Pittsburgh featuring two long-time rivals with the Penguins and Washington Capitals facing off on New Years Day. There's plenty of hype leading up to the game, including the HBO series "24/7" that is following both teams around on a day-to-day basis giving fans unprecedented access to everything that happens behind the scenes (like a lot of swearing). On Tuesday, the NHL announced a number of musical guests that will perform on game day, including the group Hinder and Pittsburgh based band The Clarks.
Hinder, a multi-platinum selling band originally from Oklahoma City, comes in carrying a sound that could probably be compared to a watered down version of Nickleback. One of their singles, "Lips Of An Angel," reached No. 1 on the charts back in 2006.
