Browns Seek 60-Minute Solution

Filed under: Browns, AFC NorthFor two consecutive weeks, the Cleveland Browns (0-2) were on top of their game in the first half offensively. But in the second half, the execution that was there in the first 30 minutes of the contest simply disappeared. Maybe it's the halftime Gatorade and if that's the issue, give them some water.

Whatever the case maybe, the Browns must place the same importance of starting fast in the attack mode they have been displaying in the last two games into the second half.

Credit the Browns' defense for keeping the team in the game for the last 30 minutes as they gave the offense chances to put points up on the board. "It's not good football," Browns coach Eric Mangini told reporters. "It's not smart football. It's not winning football. We can't play that way."
