Bills vs. Patriots Preview, Score and More

Let's see. The Buffalo Bills have the league's worst passing offense and just made a change at quarterback, so there is no way to go but up, right?

Well, a trip to Gillette Stadium to face a New England Patriots team probably is not the best place to test that theory. The Patriots have been established by two-touchdown favorites despite losing running back Kevin Faulk for the season to a torn ACL in his right knee. Tom Brady is still, after all, Tom Brady and he still has Randy Moss to throw to.

Buffalo is entrusting the offense to Ryan Fitzpatrick after Trent Edwards couldn't even get it out of the garage, but he will be dropping back to pass behind a very suspect offensive line that got Edwards sacked seven times in two games. He needs running backs C.J.Spiller, Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch to keep New England's defense honest.

This is a chance for a young Patriots defense fresh off of a poor outing against the Jets to regain some confidence and for Brady and the offense to keep the team in the thick of the AFC East race, and the home field edge should only increase the odds of victory.
