Randy Starks of Dolphins Replaces Steelers' Brett Keisel in Pro Bowl

As soon as the Pittsburgh Steelers finished off the New York Jets in Sunday's AFC Championship to reach their record-tying eighth Super Bowl, more slots opened up on the AFC's Pro Bowl squad. Miami Dolphins defensive end Randy Starks was happy to book his trip to Hawaii as Brett Keisel's replacement, giving Miami four players on the roster -- Starks, outside linebacker Cameron Wake, left tackle Jake Long and long snapper John Denney. That's the most since 2003, when defensive end Adewale Ogunleye, safety Brock Marion, cornerback Patrick Surtain and linebacker Zach Thomas played in the postseason All-Star game.

Starks, who just finished his seventh NFL campaign, started one game at nose tackle and 15 games at defensive end for the Dolphins and recorded 30 tackles and three sacks for a total of 20 yards in losses. The three sacks tied Starks for third on the team behind Wake's 14 and rookie linebacker Koa Misi's 4½. This will be Starks' first Pro Bowl appearance, as it will for Wake and Denney.
