Packers' Super Bowl Photo Drama Comes to Happy End

The Green Bay Packers have changed their minds, and they'll include injured players in their Super Bowl team picture.

In one of those stories that blows up and becomes big because we're all looking for anything to talk about in the week without football before the Super Bowl, a controversy brewed this week when the Packers said they would not include players on injured reserve in their Super Bowl team picture. The Packers' reasoning, they said, was that they wanted to take the photo at Tuesday's Media Day, and the players on injured reserve won't be making the trip down to Dallas until later next week.

But players like Packers linebacker Nick Barnett, who started the first four games before being lost for the season with a wrist injury, rightly pointed out that they were a part of the team, too: Green Bay might not have made the playoffs at all without Barnett's contributions early in the season, and he deserves to be a part of it.
