Conor Shanosky is heading to Holland. The Homegrown D.C. United midfielder has been named to this year's Generation adidas squad that will take on three Dutch sides in the next two weeks, including the reserve team from AFC Ajax. Shanosky is part of an 18-man roster compiled of some of Major League Soccer's brightest stars. 12 MLS sides are represented, with Sporting Kansas City's Peter Vermes and his staff managing the team. The trip begins Monday, December 5, with the players returning from Holland on December 15.
