READY FOR STAGE 1
Monday marks another milestone in the 2011-2012 offseason schedule, as United readies itself for Stage 1 of the MLS Re-Entry Process. A byproduct of the League's restructured Collective Bargaining Agreement in 2010, the Re-Entry process gives MLS veterans newfound freedom of movement within MLS.
Last season, United used the first overall selection to acquire forward Joseph Ngwenya at this stage. Each club in MLS may either select an individual from the eligible players list, or a club can pass.
