BUILDING MOMENTUM
If the 2011 MLS Cup Playoffs started today, D.C. United (8-7-10, 34 points) would be in the postseason. Last Saturday's 3-0 drubbing of Chivas USA put United over the playoff threshold, and with only 25 matches played in 2011, the Black-and-Red still have the most games in-hand of any team in Major League Soccer.
