D.C. United announced today that midfielder Dwayne De Rosario has been named MLS Player of the Week for Week 28 by the North American Soccer Reporters. De Rosario recorded the fastest hat trick in MLS history against Real Salt Lake on September 24, registering three goals and one assist inside 31 minutes of play against the Western Conference side. This is the Canadian playmaker?s third Player of the Week Award in 2011, having earned the honor in back-to-back weeks in early August for Weeks 20 and 21.
