AJAX FRIENDLY PROVIDES MENTAL BOOST
In last Sunday?s friendly against Dutch side AFC Ajax, D.C. United showed that it could hold its own against the newly-crowned Eredivisie champions. Though the Black-and-Red fell 2-1 to Ajax, the experience provides a boost to the team?s confidence when the players resume League play against the Portland Timbers this coming weekend.
