Given a rare day off, six D.C. United players spent Tuesday afternoon in Ashburn, Virginia, checking out Washington?s other football team. On the final day of Redskins training camp, Bill Hamid, Nick DeLeon, Danny Cruz, Joe Willis, Brandon McDonald and Perry Kitchen were granted special access for the last open practice of 2012.
Of the group, only Hamid claims the Redskins as his hometown team. A native of Annandale, and lifelong fan of the Burgundy-and-Gold, the 21-year-old was the most amped up for Tuesday?s outing.
