By the Numbers: D.C. United vs New York Red Bulls

When a team wins 4-1, there are few other numbers that matter.  Still, in looking back at the statistics from Sunday night's thrashing of New York, we can see exactly how D.C. took control of the Atlantic Cup.

57.4%

By owning possession in the first-half, D.C. dominated more than just the scoreline over the first 45 minutes.  While the Black-and-Red were having a field day, New York managed just one shot on goal in the opening half.  When the Red Bulls wanted to get back into the game, United had the ball.
