DC happy to get break during frustrating evening at RSL

Enduring a frustrating evening in a tough away venue, not much had gone D.C. United?s way for most of their 1-1 draw against Real Salt Lake on Saturday.

Chris Pontius had a goal correctly called back because Josh Wolff was offside when he flicked it to the midfielder in the first half. RSL won a PK in the 38th minute when a cross glanced off Clyde Simms? trailing arm in the penalty area, and Pontius went on to hit the bar on two separate occasions.

D.C. United to host Summer Camp in Frederick County

D.C. United it will run a week-long soccer camp at Middletown High School in Frederick County, MD as part of the club?s 2011 Summer Camp schedule. The camp, intended for players of all skill levels aged 5-17, runs 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. from August 1-5.

In addition, all participants will receive an official D.C. United camp ball, an official camp t-shirt, a ticket voucher to a D.C. United regular season home match and discount offers on United ticket packages.

D.C. United to host specialized Striker and Goalkeeper Camp

D.C. United will run a week-long camp for strikers and goalkeepers at the RFK Training Grounds in Washington, DC as part of the club?s 2011 Summer Camp schedule. The camp, intended for players of all skill levels aged 7-17, runs 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from July 18 - 22.
