INDIANAPOLIS -- Peyton Manning said the stakes are clear. The Indianapolis Colts, who have dominated the AFC South throughout much of its existence, must do one thing this weekend if that is to continue to be true. They must beat the Jacksonville Jaguars.
"You can put it anyway you want it -- this is a playoff game," Manning said Wednesday as the Colts (7-6) prepared to play the Jaguars (8-5) at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis Sunday at 1 p.m.
And although the Colts have spent much of the past decade playing for home-field advantage and playoff seeding in December, Manning said it's not as if the Colts are complete strangers to playing critical games in the season's final month.
