The Bears still have to make a trip to Lambeau Field on Jan. 2, but that game may not be the winner-take-all showdown for the NFC North that Green Bay was hoping for. Thanks to the Packers' tight loss at New England Sunday night, Chicago can clinch the NFC North division title with a win at Minnesota Monday night.Chicago (9-4) currently sits in the NFC's third playoff spot, but would also leapfrog back over NFC East-leading Philadelphia (10-4) by beating the Vikings -- the Bears and Eagles are currently tied with matching 7-3 record against NFC opponents, but Chicago's mark would jump to 8-3 with a victory Monday.
The NFC North winner is guaranteed to finish no lower than third in the NFC standings -- the fourth seed will go to the winner of the NFC West, and no team in that division can notch a record above 8-8.
