INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- The new-look Cleveland Cavaliers of 2010 have played practice games and spent lots of time practicing.Basketballs bounced, picks were set, shots went in the basket and life did continue in the fall after "The Decision" and "The Departure" of LeBron James.
New Cavs coach Byron Scott remembers watching "The Decision," the much-criticized hour-long show when James announced he was "taking my talents to South Beach." Scott was in his office at the Cavs' facility a few minutes south of downtown Cleveland. When James said Miami, Scott sighed, shrugged, grabbed his stuff and left for the hotel where he was staying.
"I had no emotional attachment to LeBron," Scott said recently, sounding as if the backup center had left and not the two-time reigning MVP. "For me, it's easy to move on."
