Jaguars' WR Mike Sims-Walker Frustrated With Lack of Opportunities

Mike Sims-WalkerMike Sims-Walker doesn't want to sound like he's complaining.

But . . .

Sims-Walker, the Jacksonville Jaguars' No. 1 wide receiver, has 12 receptions for 139 yards and a touchdown in four games this season, and while those aren't huge numbers, they're smaller in Jacksonville's two victories. Much smaller.

Sims-Walker this season hasn't caught a pass in either of Jacksonville's two victories.

According to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union, two passes were thrown toward Sims-Walker in the Jaguars' season-opening win over Denver. Then, he was thrown to once this past Sunday in a victory over Indianapolis.

"I don't want to seem selfish, I can't complain after a win," Sims-Walker said. "But it's kind of hard when you're not getting the ball and you're supposed to be that guy, the go-to man, and you're not one target. I can't really do too much with that. I've never been a guy to cause a distraction, so I'm not going to be around here punting balls or batting balls down like Brandon [Marshall] did last year. I'm trying to go about it the best way I can. That's all I know. I'm a good guy. Hopefully, we get this thing rolling and I get a spark or something. But you can't fix nothing that ain't broke."
