Georgia Tech QB Joshua Nesbitt Trying to Reclaim Lost Interest

Georgia Tech
's Joshua Nesbitt bills himself as "the most interesting player in college football."

The claim is right there, word for word, in his Heisman campaign at nesbitt4heisman.com. It is evident in his request to go by Joshua this season after gaining notoriety as Josh. It is reflected in his play the last two years, when he carried, pitched and passed a program long mired in mediocrity to national prominence.

Yet ever since he took on the moniker, Nesbitt has become downright mundane.

To be fair, Georgia Tech's sports information staff came up with "the most interesting ..." ploy. A take-off on "the most interesting man in the world" of Dos Equis beer fame, the school spoofs those memorable ads for a Heisman video, with Nesbitt as the star.

Turns out even those who have an awkward moment just to see what it feels like are only as interesting as the situation allows.
