Maloof claims he was driving home with his assistant from a friend's wedding and that he had four beers. His blood-alcohol level was .086, barely over the legal limit.
"I didn't feel I was intoxicated," Maloof told the Sacramento Bee in a telephone interview Monday morning from Las Vegas.
Police say Maloof was speeding and driving without a valid license or proof of insurance. He was released Sunday morning.
