Filed under: Bengals, Browns, AFC North
Storyline: While the other two division rivals crash in Pittsburgh, the Browns and Bengals will get it on for bragging rights of the state of Ohio. The Bengals (2-1) have not won pretty considering the firepower surrounding quarterback Carson Palmer with pass catchers Chad Ochocinco, Jordan Shipley, Jermaine Gresham and the ageless one, Terrell Owens. As the Bengals continue to find a rhythm offensively and as a team staying afloat, largely due their defense, the Browns (0-3) are consistently playing competitively, only to lose close at the end. Can the Browns feed off their nearly successful performance against the Ravens or will the Bengals manage to keep pace in the division, despite not playing well offensively?Who: Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns
Where: Cleveland Brown Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio
When: Sunday, Oct. 1, 1 p.m. ET
TV Coverage: CBS
Players to Watch: In any moment, Browns wide receiver Josh Cribbs can have a breakout game for his team. But as a receiver, he needs the ball to get to him. Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme is expected to start after suffering a high ankle sprain in the season-opening game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sept. 12, though he isn't a certainty. If healthy, Delhomme is a crafty veteran who knows how to get the ball to his playmakers. Watch for Browns running back Peyton Hillis to repeat his success in carrying the ball after stream rolling over the Ravens a week ago. After voicing his frustration for wanting more carries, Bengals running back Cedric Benson should ignite the offense on Sunday.
