BRINGING THE HEAT
The heat wave that has swept across the United States this week will be felt in full force Saturday evening as a heat index of 105 degrees is expected at the time of kickoff between D.C. United and Everton at RFK Stadium (7:30 P.M. EST/Fox Soccer).
The extreme heat could perhaps play an advantage for United. The average high temperature for July is 68 degrees in Liverpool.
"It's going to be interesting. I don't think [Everton] is used to this heat," United defender Dejan Jakovic said after Friday's training session.
