DALLAS -- Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder said Friday that he wants an apology from the Washington City Paper. Snyder filed suit this week against the free weekly's parent company, asking for more than $2 million in damages for alleged libel and defamation in a recent article which depicted him as the devil and criticized his wife's role as the NFL spokesperson for breast cancer."I've been criticized (plenty)," Snyder said while speaking at a Super Bowl for this first time in his 12 seasons in command of the Redskins. "We lose, I do something wrong. Have at me. I respect the media. My father was a journalist. But don't call me a criminal. And don't lie. And, particularly, don't make fun of my wife's efforts at breast cancer awareness.
"My wife (has) had breast cancer. Enough is enough. (They) crossed the line. It's that simple. Apologize. What's right is right and what's wrong is wrong. Put horns on me? I'm Jewish. Are you crazy? You don't do that."
