D.C. United announced today that Lance Rozeboom has undergone a successful surgery to repair a torn left Anterior Cruciate Ligament and lateral meniscal tear yesterday afternoon. The procedure was performed by Doctor James Gilbert of Metro Orthopedics and Sports Therapy in Silver Spring, Md. Rozeboom, a product of the University of New Mexico, suffered the injury during training while in Los Angeles after the team?s match with the Galaxy.
