Major League Soccer today announced LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham as the MLS Comeback Player of the Year. D.C. United's Charlie Davies finished second in voting.
David Beckham recovered from a torn Achilles tendon in 2010. Beckham, who turned 36 in May, went six months between competitive games while rehabilitating from the notoriously challenging injury, which can take eight months or more to overcome.
