Following a harrowing day of travel, D.C. United arrived in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon in preparation for Saturday's match at Chivas USA (10:30 p.m. ET/Comcast SportsNet). The club very nearly didn't make it to Southern California as planned, with heavy rain in Washington causing United's convoy to get stuck in traffic en route to Dulles International Airport. All told, the players spent nearly two hours in Virginia traffic on Thursday morning.
