Dwayne De Rosario named MLS Player of the Week for second consecutive week

D.C. United today announced that midfielder Dwayne De Rosario has been named MLS Player of the Week for the second consecutive week by the North American Soccer Reporters. He becomes the first player to earn Player of the Week honors twice this season. De Rosario?s honor follows a hat trick  performance against his former team, Toronto FC, as United battled to a 3-3 draw. All three of De Rosario?s goals came while down a man, following Bill Hamid?s ejection in the 7th minute of play.
