Steven Stamkos Falls During Penalty Shot

Last week Steven Stamkos scored one of the nastiest penalty shot goals of the season, performing a perfectly timed spin-o-rama against Montreal's Carey Price.

During Tampa Bay's game in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night -- an 8-1 loss -- the 20-year-old sniper was awarded another penalty shot midway through the second period. This one didn't exactly go as planned.

As he made his approach on Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, Stamkos lost control of the puck after crossing the blue line -- and then things became embarrassing. As he tried to regain control he lost an edge on his skates and fell to the ice, helplessly sliding into the end boards.
